Here's a picture of my desktop with my little green birdy on it. :3
His name is Feathers, and is about 4 years old now. He is a green Quaker Parrot (or Monk Parakeet). They also come in blue with grey on them instead of green. Nicknames include: Felvy, Welly, Wel Wel, Mr. Felvy, little green turd, turd face, pinchy, little buddy, skinky, and more! I luffs him. He's the sweetest little thing. Seems to know when I'm upset, and loves to be scratched under the chin and take baths with me. .__. We got him one summer when Elkins Equipment was selling them. They were just so freaking cute. I think he is morbidly obese, though. Fat little freak. He just never stops eating! |

He can say "chirp chirp" (the actual words), "birdy belly", "step up", "Mr. Well", and he also makes this noise whenever we laugh that's like a laugh.
He's mostly a closet talker, though.
Doesn't like to talk if he hasn't perfected it and gotten comfortable with it.

I never really actually heard a bird talk before, "birdy belly" what a cute word!! is he cheeky?
All my bird can do is try to said "dance" and bob his head up and down (not really good at saying it, just like a squeak) my bird just rarely does it

might be a bit confusing. He's got "Chirp chirp" down, but doesn't like to say it unless there's backgound noise (kinda like when you only like singing when you're alone or the song is on the radio).
Cheeky? Maybe a little. He loves new sounds and new people, well... most people. He just doesn't like some, but others he'll just love the moment they set foot in my room.
He does this thing we call the "kissy dance"; He'll stretch our his neck as far as he can towards your ear, right against your cheek, and when you make a kiss noise, he'll immediately pull back and go to the other cheek.
